My favorite books are stories that make me feel and see things from a different perspective. The characters, plot, setting, and pacing all intertwine to take me on a journey. When I read, I see the book unfold like a movie in my mind, so I have a knack for picking out discrepancies in details, including character descriptions and setting. Tracking timelines, story arcs, character development, and resolution to the conflict in the story are my specialties. Since I'm a voracious reader, I joined multiple romance advance reader groups. When I found errors, I would debate contacting the author, but I did. And that is how my career as an editor was born. I want to make sure authors publish their very best work. Plot holes, conflicting details, misspellings, and character inconsistency can hold a good book back from being an incredible best-seller.
